Apple menyiapkan iPhone 4 Yang Lebih Murah
Terdengar kabar bahwa penyuplai iPhone Wilayah Asia akan memulai memproduksi iPhone 4 versi 8GB. Dengan pengurangan flash drive, iPhone 4 diharapkan akan menjadi lebih ramah dikantong. Tersiar rumor flash drive iPhone 4 8GB akan bersumber dari perusahaan Jepang, Toshiba dan perusahaan Korea Selatan, Samsung Electronics. iPhone 4 8GB diharapkan tersedia dipasaran dalam beberapa minggu kedepan.
Menurut Yuanta Securities analyst, Bonnie Chang iPhone 4 8GB akan membantu Apple dalam mempertahankan kedigdayaannya di segmen Smarthphone karena banyaknya permintaan akan pasar untuk Smarthphone versi low-end dan mid-end dengan kisaran harga antara USD $150-200. Tetapi Yuanta Securities analyst, Bonnie Chang memperkirakan harga iPhone 4 8GB akan sulit berada pada level dibawah USD $200.
Sebagai tambahan untuk meluncurkan iPhone 4 8GB, Apple juga berencana akan meluncurkan iPhone 5 / iPhone 4S yang seyogianya suksesor iPhone 4 yang mempunyai layar lebih besar, antena yang lebih baik dan kamera 8MP.

Sony PSP Vita Mempunyai RAM 2x Lebih Besar Dari PS3
Sebelumnya Sony mengumumkan PSP versi murah (PSP tanpa WiFi), Baru saja Sony mengkonfirmasi kapasitas RAM dari PSP Vita. Melalui Sony president of Worldwide Studios Shu Yoshida wawancara kepada Euro Gamer, PSP Vita akan mempunyai kapasitas 512MB RAM. Ini berarti PSP Vita mempunyai RAM 2x lebih besar dari PS3 (hanya 256MB RAM) dan bahkan 4x lebih besar dari pesaingnya Nintendo 3DS (hanya 128MB RAM).
Dengan kapasitas RAM sebesar itu, PSP Vita dapat membuka aplikasi dan fungsi lainnya ketika sedang memainkan game sementara game itu sedang berjalan (me-minimize-kan game). Sony juga menambahkan fitur Cross-Game Voice Chat kedalam PSP Vita, Artinya para gamer dapat chit-chat selagi memainkan game.
Namun demikian untuk menyaingi sang rival Nintendo 3DS, Sony akan menyiapkan PSP Vita versi 256MB RAM yang seyogianya mempunya kapasitas RAM lebih kecil dari versi original.
PSP Vita sendiri mulai dipasarkan pada akhir tahun ini di Jepang dan awal tahun 2012 dikawasan Eropa, dan US, setelahnya dalam waktu dekat secara global. Sedangkan berdasarkan informasi sebelumnya, Sony PSP Vita akan dilepas dengan harga berkisar USD $249 (tanpa 3G) dan USD $299 (dengan 3G).

Sony Memotong Harga PS3
Wow.. belum lama ini PS3 mendapatkan update ke firmware terbaru, dan satu lagi kabar bagus buat penggemar game. Bertempat di Tokyo pada tanggal 16 Agustus 2011, Sony mengumumkan akan memotong harga PS3 dalam waktu dekat. PS3 dengan model harddisk 160GB akan dijual dengan harga menjadi USD $250 di US, Euro €249.99 di Eropa dan Yen ¥24,980 di Jepang, Sedangkan dengan model harddisk 320GB akan dijual dengan harga menjadi USD $300 (bundel dengan game inFAMOUS 2) dikawasan US, Eropa dan pada 18 Agustus di Jepang.
Bersamaan dengan itu, Sony juga mengumumkan PSP model terbaru. Namun belum ada kabar kapan Sony akan memotong harga PS3 dikawasan Asia.

Baru saja Xiami Phone resmi diluncurkan. Sebuah “Handphone Cina”, Namun bukan sembarang Handphone Cina. Handphone Cina yang berplatform Android ini siap bersaing dipasar global. Tidak tanggung-tanggung, Xiami Phone ini pun ditenagai dengan pilihan prosessor Qualcomm MSM8260 SoC dual-core 1.2GHz dan 1.5GHz dengan GPU Adreno 220. Selain itu, Xiaomi Phone juga dilengkapi dengan 1GB RAM dan 4GB ROM.
Xiaomi Phone akan tersedia pada tanggal 29 Agustus (pre order) Namun akan dikapalkan pada bulan Oktober dengan harga USD $310 untuk versi prosessor dual-core 1.5GHz dan untuk versi 1.2GHz akan lebih murah lagi.

Disaat era tablet semakin bersinar, View Sonic ViewPad 10pro siap untuk menggempur. Kemunculannya pun tidak tanggung-tanggung, tablet yang di motori dengan dua OS sekaligus yaitu Windows 7 dan Android. ViewPad 10pro ditenagai prosesor Intel 1.5 GHz Atom Z650 dan dilengkapi dengan 2 GB memori RAM, layar 10.1 inci dengan resolusi 1024 x 600 pixels, 1.3 megapixels kamera depan, HDMI, dan MicroSD Slot.
Ada dua model yang bakal dilemparkan kepasaran, yaitu model dengan Windows 7 Home Premium dan 16GB SSD diperkirakan dengan harga sekitar USD $599 sedangkan model dengan Windows 7 Professional dan 32GB SSD akan lebih mahal lagi (belum ada keterangan harga).
Bila kamu menginginkannya, sebaiknya cepat karena View Sonic ViewPad 10pro akan tersedia terbatas. Belum ada keterangan secara resmi regional mana saja yang kebagian ViewPad 10pro ini, Namun View Sonic akan mengadakan press release nya dalam waktu dekat.

Sony baru saja mengumumkan ketersediaan firmware versi terbaru untuk PS3. Dengan keunggulan dapat menyimpan data secara otomatis dengan sistem cloud/awan (bagi pelanggan/pendaftar) dan sinkronisasi “Trophies” secara otomatis.
Selain itu dengan Firmware Versi 3.70 ini, PS3 anda me share/recommend game/aplikasi yg ada di PlaySation Store. Tidak hanya itu dengan Firmware Versi 3.70 ini juga meningkatkan aplikasi video dan menambahkan kategori baru pada XMB yang disebut TV/Video Services. Kategorinya meliputi aplikasi video Netflix, hulu Plus, dan Vudu (ketiganya layanan video berbayar).
Dengan XMB tersebut kamu dapat mendownload aplikasi video langsung melalui PS3, folder baru “My Channel” didalam kategori yg dapat mengakses langsung aplikasi yang telah didownload dengan mudah dan aplikasi yang telah didownload melalui PlayStation Store akan ditempatkan langsung pada kategori video yang telah ada pada XMB.
Dan yang paling Hebatnya Firmware Versi 3.70 ini juga membawa update pada Blu-ray 3D yang ada pada PS3, meliputi dukungan 3D ketika mengakses Java-based di Blu-ray, mendukung DTS-HD MA, DTS-HD HR decoding/bit stream output (atau lossless audio) ketika memutar 3D movies di Blu-ray dan mampu memutar foto 3D digital dengan format MPO dalam XMB dan di Aplikasi Photo Gallery.

Samsung Galaxy Xcover Yang Tahan Debu, Air Bahkan Banting
Samsung baru saja mengungkapkan jajaran ponsel Xcover nya. Samsung Galaxy Xcover berplatform Android 2.3 Gingerbread dengan setifikat standart IP67, yang artinya Samsung Galaxy Xcover akan tahan debu, air (sampai kedalaman 1 meter dan selama 30 menit), bahkan bantingan sekalipun. Belum banyak informasi yang terungkap, Namun Galaxy Xcover mempunyai kamera 3.2 MP dengan LED flash (bisa digunakan sebagai senter), WiFi, GPS, HSDPA, dan layar 3.65 inci dengan tahan goresan. Sejauh ini Galaxy Xcover akan dipasarkan di Jerman pada bulan oktober (untuk Indonesia kapan ya..??). Dan sayangnya belum ada kabar berapa harga Galaxy Xcover akan dilepas. Jadi, kita tunggu saja kabar berikutnya.

Nokia WP7 – Nyata Atau Bualan?
Wow...beberapa WP7 Nokia terungkap di dunia maya (atau hanya dari orang iseng belaka). Semenjak Nokia dan Microsoft kongsi, sepertinya Nokia sangat serius dengan WP7. Apalagi pangsa pasar Nokia di segmen Smarthphone tidak lagi berada di singgasana. Berdasarkan Hasil Laporan International Data Corporation pada 2Q 2011, Nokia berada diperingkat 3 dunia sedangkan posisi 1 dan 2 diduduki oleh Apple dan Samsung.
Berawal dari email yang dikirim orang yang mengaku dari pihak Microsoft kepada MyNokiaBlog (menggunakan email ovi.com), Orang tersebut mengungkapkan beberapa Nokia WP7 versi Manggo. Menariknya Nokia WP7 ini menggunakan layanan Ovi dari Nokia. Namun belum ada konfirmasi dari pihak Nokia tentang berita yang beredar. Apakah Nokia bisa berjaya kembali dengan WP7 nya..?? hmm,..bagaimana menurut kamu,..!

Kabar bagus untuk pengguna Xperia Play. Melalui XDA Develover, seorang develover yang bernama Yifanlu telah berhasil menghack Extention .ISO PS Satu untuk dikonversi ke Extention .APK Android. Artinya semua game PS Satu dapat kamu mainkan di Xperia Play dengan Native PSX Emulator ISO Converter. Yifanlu sendiri telah telah mencoba game Crash Bandicoot. Berdasarkan beliau, semua fungsi dari game yang dijalankan melalui PS Satu Emulator berjalan dengan normal, kecuali manualnya (manual instruction).
